Park for free in Anseremme (Rue du Vélodrome 15). Once you have collected your tickets, the shuttle takes you to Houyet or Gendron. Showers and changing rooms are free, and catering is available at the arrival point.

Navigation is allowed from 3 to 45 m³/s (SPW station at Gendron). Under 3 m³/s the rocky riverbed is protected, and over 45 m³/s the current is too dangerous. Our Lesse water level page has real-time data.
Yes, only on a green flag (flow < 10 m³/s) and in a 3-seat canoe designed for it. Dogs are not advised on a blue flag and are strictly forbidden on orange and red flags.
The Lesse has spectacular scenery with castles and dams, but it is very busy (up to 3,500 kayaks/day). The Semois, classified as a National Park (29,000 ha), is quieter (≈ 200 kayaks/day) and cheaper (from €26/person). If you prefer wild nature and silence, choose the Semois.
Yes. In high season (July–August) the Lesse is legally limited to 1,169 kayaks/day. Booking early is strongly recommended, above all for groups of 20 people or more.
