Semois River
Kayak rates on the Semois (Belgian Ardennes)
The Semois winds between the forests and typical villages of the Ardennes. It is the ideal river for a first kayak descent with the family: its steady current and quiet meanders suit beginners and experienced paddlers alike. Four routes are available, from the 7 km discovery trip to the 17 km grand crossing. The round-trip shuttle is free and included. The prices below are identical to those shown in our online booking module.

Lesse River
Kayak rates on the Lesse — Gendron 12 km route (2026)
The Lesse is the undisputed benchmark for kayaking in Belgium. Our booking module offers a single option: the official Gendron — Anseremme (12 km · ≈ 3h00) route, directly reachable by SNCB train (Line 166), with a magnificent passage past Walzin Castle and the cliffs of the Chaleux Needles. The SNCB train shuttle to the boarding point at Gendron-Celles station is included in the price.

The Amblève offers the liveliest descent of our rivers: from the Coo Waterfall, a 9 km route to Cheneux in whitewater, punchy and wooded, for paddlers who are already comfortable. A single option in our booking module, equipment and shuttle included.

Rates start from 24.20 € per person. The price depends on the river (Semois, Lesse or Amblève), the route and the type of boat (single, double or canoe). All our kayak prices are all-inclusive: equipment and shuttle included.
Is the shuttle included?
Yes. On the Semois and the Amblève the shuttle is included in the rate. On the Lesse, the SNCB train shuttle to the start at Gendron is included in the boat price.
Are service fees included?
Yes. The displayed prices are the all-inclusive prices you pay online, including a platform service fee of 10 % covering secure booking, connection with the provider and customer service.
Do I need to know how to swim to kayak?
Being comfortable in water is recommended. The life jacket is mandatory and provided free of charge with every kayak or canoe. Children under 6 ride free in an adult's kayak.
Which river for a first descent?
For a first time with the family, the Semois (Vresse → Alle, 7 km) is ideal: gentle current and unspoilt landscapes. The Lesse (12 km, train shuttle included) is the sporty great classic. The Amblève (Coo Waterfall, 9 km) is a whitewater river for paddlers who are already comfortable.
